V. 1 Intel ft..', Fred MacM array in Romantic Hit With Madeleine Carroll Fred MarMurray and Madel eine Carroll prove that they are among the screen's peers when it comes to romantic teams, in "Honeymoon in Ball," a gay, ro mantic comedy, which opened its three-day run at the Craterian theater yesterday. Using a smart New York de partment store. Nassau and Bali for background, the picture casts the ethereally lovely Miss Car roll as a department store ex ecutive who is so wrapped up in being competent Bnd independ ent that she has no time for ro mance. Fred is cast as the young man who is the disturbing factor in her little scheme of things a reckless, carefree adventurer who has just returned from Bali and Is more or less convinced that woman's place is in the home and in a man's arms. Allan Jones, co-stnrred with Fred and Miss Carroll, is cast as an opera singer who is also ardently Inter ested in Miss Carroll. Helen Broderick, as Made leine's cousin, Osa Massen as the other girl, and the new child sensation, Carolyn Leo, add greatly to the production in fea tured roles. And Akim Tamiroff, in a small role, proves once again that he is a comedian of no mean stature. man is held Macon, Mo., Oct. 30. (JP) Throe Missouri counties sought custody today of Earnest P.
