Snowing In Park Snow started falling In Crater Lake national park at 6 a.m. and by 8 a.m. had deposted a quarter-Inch layer, rangers said In their dally radio broadcast. Park roads were still open but were made lick by the new snow layer, the rangers said, adding, however, that traffic was moving through tiw park without chains. The sky this morn ing was overcast and visibility was poor, they stated. Drills Tonight Company- A and headquarters company. 186th Infantry of the Oregon national guard will hold their regular weekly drill In the Medford armory at 8 tonight. Company A la striving to continue Improvement In Its attendance rec ord and all members are requested by the commanding officers, Capt Carl Y. Tengwald. to be present this evening. The company jumped from 34th position in October to 11th place In Kovember in the drill attendance records for the state. There are 42 national guard companies and 14 de tachment and headquarters units In the state. Reservists To Study Third lesson In a course on company administra tion will be given at a meeting of Rogue valley chapter of the Reserve Officers association in tho Medford armory at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. Lieut. Joseph W. Scobey will be the instruc tor. The course of study is being given through the co-operation of the civilian conservation corps and Is de signed to be of value to all reserve of ficers. Lieut. Scobey, stationed at CCO headquarters here, Is In charge or ft correspondence course on admin istration being conducted for all the camps of the Medford district. Here On Business K. B. SCHOOLS OF CITY CLOSE WEDNESW FOR TWELVE DAYS With the close -of school tomorrow afternoon, students and teachers of Medford's six instltutlona win say goodbye to the three R's for the dur ation of the 12-day Christina vaca tion period, studies will be resumed on Tuesday, January 3. Lincoln, Washington. Jackson and Roosevelt grade schools. Junior high, and senior high schools will release some 2750 students and 105 teachers for the annual Yulettde holidays.
