of thirst within 800 years, the Am

consulting engineer.
"A rather dark picture, but is It
not the way of all flesh?" Stevens

union. In session at the University of
California at Los Angeles.
The engineer expressed the opinion
that the end might bo postponed 200
years by an intensive soil and water

predicted, reservoirs will be filled
with Flit, catchment baslna eroded
flat and a population three or four
times the present size will be trying
to live off the flood waters.
