Moving To Idaho Mrs. Llla M Haas of 122 North Oakdale avenue will leave tonight by train for Fort Hall, Idaho, where she has accepted employment and will make her home. Mrs. Haas has resided here for the past four years and has numerous friends In Medford who regret her departure. She is a niece of H. O. He was to transact business In Grants Pass, Roseburg and intervening cities. He planned to be back at his office In Medford federal building Saturday morning. Meeting Friday A Christmas party will be held at the regular semi monthly meeting of the Rogue River Valley Navy Mothers club in the home of Mrs. Florence Cuffel at 900 North Central avenue at 8 o'clock Friday evening. Jacob Fickel, chief of the army air corps In the 9th carps area with headquar ters at the Presidio In San Francisco, stopped at Medford municipal air port this morning to have his North American observation plans refueled. He arrived from Fort Lewis. Wesh.. and left for Oakland, Cal.. as soon as his plane had been serviced. Two mechanics were flying with him. An other arrival today was Ueut O. H. Brown. Hamilton field, San Rafael. Cal., to Fort Lewis In a Douglas ob servation. Lee Honored Dr. Robert E. Lee. Medford optometrist, returned by train this morning from Portland where he took a post graduate course and attended a convention of the Western Association of State Boards. Dr. Lee was elected secretary of the association., which embraces seven western states. He is also a member of the Oregon state board of examin ing optometrists. The doctor this morning resumed his practice at his office, 103 North Central avenue. Veterans To Meet Crater Lake post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars will hold a regular meeting In the Medford armory at 8 p.m. Friday. Final arangements will be made for the post's annual Christmas party to be held in the armory on a date to be announced later. William J. Cooney, bicycle club chairman, will report on the post's safety project. It Is expected that the service officer will make a complete report on his department's activities for the4 year. Plans for 1930 will be outlined. As this will be the final meeting of 1938 Commander O. E. HuklU asks that all members be present. Conrt Citation Dierland M. Js meson, who sat on the Modoc County bench for 17 years before he retired, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Blglev In San Francisco, It was announced here today. The other bulls display their strength and fierceness by butting and throwing each other. But Ferdinand sits quiet ly beneath his tree until a bee stings him. His wild leaps end jumps catch the fancy of the men and he Is cart ed sway to Madrid. The day of the bull fight Is filled with music, senorltsa with bouquets of flowers, and crowds of people. A procession of bnnderillcros. plcadores, and the matador, precede the en trance of Ferdinand. As he enters the ring, he spies a bouquet of flowers that a ce nor I ta has toraed to the matodor. He runs over to the bou quet, sits down and starts smelling the flowers. In despair the matador pleads, stamps his feet, pulls his hair, but to no avail. Ferdinand will not fight.
