Shirley Temple In
Newest Picture On
Craterian Program
There's so much to laugh at, so
much to love, so many things to
take away and remember In Shirley
Temple'a new picture. "Just Around
the Corner," which opened yesterloy
at the Craterlan theatre, that even
the most glowing comment can hard
ly do Justice either to Shirley or to
the delightful show fashioned around
her.
You'll simply have to go see It for
yourself I
The picture opens with Shirley re
turning home from , boarding school
to find her architect Dad down on
his luck. Hsvlng Invested all his
money In a great slum clearance
project, work on which has been sus
pended for lack of additional capital,
Farrell has given up hi penthouse
and taken a basement room In the
same apartment building. Once the
biggest paying tenant In the build
ing, he la now one of lta humblest
employees.
The resson. he explains to Shirley,
la because of what la happening to
Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam could fix
everything If onlj people would
help him.
Shirley naturally assumes that her
Dad Is referring to the fabulously
wealthy Samuel Henshaw who la
"Uncle 8am" to her playmate, Bennle
Bartlett, and to the lovely Amanda.
So she conspired with Bert Lahr.
Joan Davis and Bill Robinson to put
on a big benefit show In the base
ment of the apartment house and
"Uncle Sam" (Henshaw) Is to be the
beneficiary!
The newspspera get wind of Shir
ley's show, which Is a tremendous
success, and what follows provides a
thrilling and completely satisfactory
climax for everyone concerned.
And, on top of that, there's a new
Mickey Mouse cartoon. "The Brave
Little Tailor." plua a delightful un
usual subject wherein Bdgar Bergen
and Charlie McCarthy demonstrate
how Charlie was born.

N. Y. Tests
Prove Women
Can Lose FAT
Ask Your Doctor If It Isn't
Good Way. Read Every Word
NEW YORK. N. T.: A test conduct
ed by a prominent N. Y. phyaician
and a nationally known newspaper
woman proved there Is a harmless, ef
fective way to lose fat, U you'll only
STICK TO IT and give It a fair trial.
In 40 days, 35 women lost a total
of 386 lb. EVERY woman lost fat
the average loss per woman being
11 lbs. The women first of all ate
sensibly. And for proper functioning
they took a little dally dose of Krus
chen Salts. If you have the slightest
doubt about this Plan Just ask your
own doctor about Its safety and merit.
And Mils Is Important to know:
Kruwhen Is not Just one salt as
some people may tgnorantly believe.
Bather. It'a a blend of e active min
eral salts (see on box) which, when
dissolved In water, make a healthful
mineral drink similar to the waters
of famous European Spas where
wealthy fat women have gone lor
years.
Here's the Kruschen Plan: Just take
a half teaspoon of Kruschen In hot
water every morning for better func
tioning. Oo light on fatty foods and
sweets eat plentifully of lean meats,
fresh fruits and green vegetables.
Plan to do this faithfully for 38 days
and see If you don't lose fat and feel
healthier and younger, a jar coaw
but a few cents and makea 5 gallon
of a most highly, efficient mineral
health water. At Western Thrift
Stores and druggist everywhere.
