(AP) The federal communications commis sion has opened an Investigation of complaint of an alleged antl- Semltlc and un-American" broadcast by radio station WHOM of Jersey City September 18. The commission disclosed today it had granted the station a 00-day temporary renewal of license Instead of the usual six-month renewal. This was done, the commission said, to permit an Investigation of complaints against the broadcast. The commission said the program was sponsored by an organ tr.atlon designated as "II Orido Delia Stlrpe." Excerpts from the WHOM broad cast, as given out by the commission included ; "The problem of race which Is confronting Italy constitutes an ef ficacious reagent not only against the Jews but against all those even though they be Italians who have not assimilated fascist philosophy and thought." "Why have the Jews of the world declared themselves pro-Spanish communists against fascism?"
