The youths chosen are Lawrence B. Patterson, son of Mr, and Mrs. Edwin E. Pat terson of route I; John C. Bounds. son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin F. Bounds of Ashland, and Robert E. Harper of Grants Pass. They will leave here by train Monday night for Portland where they will be given their final qualifying examinations. if they are successful In passing the final tests, they will proceed Imme diately to San Diego.
