Arthurs, at their home on tha Klaro m&th Falls highway south of Ash land. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hanscome near Medford. Mrs. Hanscome Is recovering from a major operation a month ago. She ts not yet able to be up. Mr. Hanscome, who had a knee broken several weeks ago, is about well again, though not able to go back to work. Mr. and Mrs.C. L. Recently, Luclle and Ernest Smith had to sell the sheep they had been caring for as 4-H club projects. This greatly disappointed the two mem bers, but the sheep had come to an age where they would bring top prices and It waa necessary to sell and not keep them for the 4-H fair. The sheep were six months old and weighed 103 pounds each, which is very good for lambs. Table Rock cIuim recently purchas ed pipe and hose to put water on the lawn surrounding the monument. The lawn was slowed up consider ably by the heat but la a vast Im provement over the weeds and grass which surrounded It before the clubs cleaned It up. The clubs were represented by the following at the 4-H club picnic at Jackson Hot Springs: Mrs. Do ran, Misses Olive and M Belle Davis, Mrs Houaley, Mary, Marjorle and Calvin Houaley, Miss Luclle Brehnesholtz, Luclle Smith, Ernest Smith, Mrs. Myers and Ivan Myers. Members stated they all had a vary pleasant time and enjoyed the speakers very much. Members attending summer camp were Miss Ida Belle Davis and Doris Hunsley. They reported a very busy week of play and Instruction, but both wanted to go back next year. , Livestock clubs held their tour of their projects July 39. Mr. Conrad accompanied with the trallet scales, weighing the animals. Mrs. Hamil ton, Mrs. Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Bron- nesholtz and Miss Luclle Brennea- holtz also went on the tour.
