Whitney oper ator of a flying service at Sacramento, Cal., stopped at Medford municipal airport this morning to have his Falrchlld plane refueled. He was on a business hop to Portland. Flying NorthLieut. S. L. Erlckson was among yesterday's arrivals at Medford municipal airport. He was flying an army Douglas observation plane from Oakland, Cal., to Fort Lewis, Wash. Bomber Fueled A large United States army Douglas bomber was re fueled at Medford municipal airport this morning. It was piloted by Lieut. Paul Pennington, who was on a rou tine flight from Hamilton field. San Rafael, Cal., to Medford and return. - Receives Prize Mrs, H. B.
