Dr. Atwater la coming to the coast to attend the annuai convention of the western division of the health ano elation In Portland June 6-8. Whether he will visit Medford on hit way to or from the Portland meeting had not been ascertained, but arrangement were being made for blm to address a gathering of health workers here. Dr. Atwater once taught public health at Yale university In China and U considered an authority on the NATIONAL HEALTH SECRETARY WILL BE VISITOR HERE subject. Because of his comprehen sive insight Into publlo health prob lems the world over, his talk here will be of especial value to the com munity. Miss Carlton pointed out.
