A box of matches on a kitchen cabinet shelf ignited In some unex plained way and set fire to the cab inet. Chief Roy Elliott reported. The flames spread to the door, walls and casings. The fire was confined to the kitchen. The fire department answer ed a ward alarm at 13:40. Raster Services Those Intending to attend Easter morning at the Plrst Methodist Episcopal church were re minded today that the Sunday school will start at 9:30 a. m. and the church service at 10:30 a. m. Buys Feed Store Announcement was made today of the sale of the Fred Honner feed store at Pir and Pourth streets to Lester Irwin who has been In the feed business In Willows, Cal., for a number of years. Mr. and Mrs. Irwin will make their home here, the new owner having taken possession of the Medford con cern. A complete line of feeds, hay, grains and poultry supplies will be handled. Mr. Irwin said. Back From Mexico David Lowry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert B. Lowry of the Bear Creek orchard, recently returned to his home here where he will visit for several months. Mr. Lowry has spent the past six months In Mexico. In Mexico City he at tended the University of Mexico and then with a college acquaintance made a six weeks' tour into central and Interior regions of Mexico. For 150 miles of the trip they saw no railroads or roads and traveled on burros over ancient trallB. Mr. Lowry said he had an Interesting and edu cational excursion. He graduated from the University of Oregon last spring and was a major In political science.
