On Show Boat Trip L. O. Jolley. In charge of a United States forest service show boat working out of Portland, yesterday consulted execu tives of Uie Rogue River national forest here. He was en route to the South Fork CCC camp where a pre sentation of educational motion pic tures was made last night. Jolley was to proceed today to CCO camps on the Siskiyou national fore6t. Smrlal Pro eram Church of the Nazorene Sunday school will present a special program at 0:45 a. m. Sun day, as the culmination of a six weeks' rally service. During the series the Sunday school has endeavored to enroll 50 new members and raise S600 for the new church being erected at North Hollv and First streets. The fund was reported as nearly com pleted last Sunday, with about half the quota of new members enrolled. Goes to Canton Word has been received that E. Paul Tenney has been transferred as American vice consul from Kobe. Japan, to Canton. China. Mr. Tenney Is the brother of Mrs. William C. Ryan of Medford. and has visited here on several occa sions. He Is a graduate of the Stan ford law school and entered the dip lomatic service two years ago. being assigned to Hamburg. Oermany. as his Initial post. Mr. Tenney was married recently to Miss Louise Jen kins of Richmond, Ind., In Yokohama. Blcvcle struck Ted Medley of Route 4 escaped Injury yesterday when the bicycle he was riding was struck by an auto driven by Boyd Sinclair of 1212 West Tenth street, at Main and Holly streets, according to a city police report today. WILLIAM CARL CAREY PASSES IN William Carl Carey, Infant son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Carey of Talent. Oregon, passed away at a local hospital Thursday morning. The child Is survived by parents, and grand parent. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Morris, ot Talent, also his mother, Mrs. Nina Carey of Csssvllle, Mis souri.
