The films were msde available by the Medford office of the Metropolitan Life Insurance company. Officers to Meet Regular meeting of the Rogue valley chapter of the Reserve Officers association will be held In the armory toni.i, 7:30. Lieut. Phllo D. Smith, adjutant cf the Medford CCC district, will be the Instructor In a class tn "mobiliza tion." The subject will be studied In preparation for the contact camp to be held here December 11 and 12. Oregon had 41 ap proved projects Involving 35 airport sites and a total estimated cost of 3,741,248. e e e Asks Flag Salute Jackson county chapter of the Disabled American Vet erans of the World War today Issued an appeal that proper respeot be shown the American flag in tomor row's Armistice Day parade. The chapter said It had observed In recent years that citizens have become care less In showing respect for the flsg as It passes in processions. The as serted lack of respect was attributed to thoughtlessness. So the veteran organization asked that tomorrow every man lift hla hat aa the Stars and Stripes pssa by. Women, It was explained, should stand erect, their arms at their sides. Going to Sea The hope of all youths who enlist In the United States navy, a trip to aea, will soon be fulfilled for George Watson, It Is disclosed In a letter received from the Medford boy today. Watson, who la serving hla second year In the navy, said he expects to go to Mare Island In December or January. He Is serv ing on the Vestal, a repair ship sta tioned at San Pedro. Cal. George re cently received a copy of the Mali Tribune and became homesick, he wrote. So. to keep In touch with his friends and acquaintances here, he ordered the Sunday edition.
