Rice alleges he was beaten and robbed of 31 when he went with the accused In Mes senger's auto to haul In Rice's" dis abled auto. Rice met the youths in an Ashland csfo on the evening of the Southern Oregon normal at Ash land-Oregon Normal -home -coming football game October 30. Messenger was arrested at Ashland shortly after the alleged assault and robbery was reported, and the three Oregon Normal athletes last Monday at Monmouth. Rundahl fell off the wsgon and saw more snakes than he cares to think about. . The farmer's left leg was broken when his team shied at a snake and toppled him from the wagon.
