Testimony showed Logadon, Crater

1 tablespoon granulated gelatin
3 tableapoont cold water
cup mayonnaise
cup whipped cream
1 cup cooked asparagus
1-3 cup sliced radlfthes
V cup chopped sweet pickles i
2 tablespoons minced celery.
3 tablespoons minced onions
1 tablespoon lemon Juice
$4 teaspoon salt
teaspoon paprlkt
Soak gelatin for S minutes In water.
Dissolve over boiling water, cool and
add to the ret of the Ingredients,
combined. Let free re 4 hours (or
longer) Intray in mechanical refriger
ator. Unmold on lettuce and top
with more dressing.
This salad may also be frozen by
packing It in a mold, sealing It
tightly and burying It for five hours
In five parts of chopped tee and one
part of coarse salt.
Hutch Apple Cake .
3 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
yA teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons fat
3-3 cup mi lit
Mix dry ingredients. Cut In fat and
add slowly milk. When a soft dough
forms, place It on a greased shallow
pan and pat down until tt is about
two-thirds of an Inch thick. Spread
with topping.
Topping
3 cups sliced apples
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Vi teaspoon clovea
Places the apple slices in even rows
on top of the dough. Spread with rest
of the ingredients, combined. Bake 36
minutes In a moderate oven. Serve
warm or cold with cream, lemon or
hard sauce.
