Falls left Medford municipal airport this morning In his Waco for Portland where he was to give expert testimony at a federal trial. He par ticipated In the golf tournament here over the week-end. He waa accom panied by Mrs. Sharp. Meeting Tomorrow The Get-Together club will meet In Eagles hall st the Medford armory at 10 a. m. tomorrow. Australians Here Thirty-eight ag riculturalist from Australia spent last night here. On a good-will and observation tour, they left early this morning for Salem to attend the state fair. Stlnson. 25. of Med ford received a five-day Jail sentence, and Oscar Hanson, 58. of Sweden, a transient, was fined 110. Gilmore Here Earl Ollmore, presi dent of the Gllmoro Oil company, stopped at Medford municipal airport this morning to have his Bellanca plane refueled. He had breakfast at the airport cafeteria while his ship was being serviced. He was en route from Burbank, Calif,, to Seattle. Wash. The plane waa piloted by C. A. Lajotte. . McMann Visits Dan P. McMann of Glendale, Calif., who has been the house guest for several daya of Mr. and Mrs. Jamea Taylor, left yesterday for his home. He vacationed here, visiting old friends and schoolmates. He Is a fcon of Mr. and Mrs. W. 8. McMann, former assistant superin tendent of the Medford Ice and Stor age company. The family left here several years ago to reside In Glen dale. Another son, older brother of Dan. waa killed In an air crash In Florida about two months ago. Captain Anderson commands Company 1. 186th infantry of the Oregon national guard at Forest Grove. Lieutenant Orlgsby commands headquarters company of the same regjment here. New Forester Marlon N. Nance was today added to headquarters staff of the Rogue river national forest. He is rated a Junior forester. Since his graduation In 1935 from the school of forestry, Oregon Stat college. Nance has been employed by the United States forest service, coming here from the Pacific northwest for est experiment station In Portland. He and his wife will make their home in Medford. Police report quoted William Gage, pilot of the plane, as saying It was a suicide. "I tried to stop him but I could n't." Pilot Oae reported to the police, "he ordered ft worth of ride, saying: ' 'That ought to give me a lot of flying."
