The money was ball forfeited by Kenneth Larson, arrested for the al leged possession of a slot machine by City commissioner J. B. Bennett, who recently accused police of graft. Bennett, who has been Investigating lotteries" and other forms of gambling, continued his crusade today by ask ing for warranta against persona own ing property where gambling was al leged to have occurred, but the city attorney's office told him no such city lawa exist, although a state statute might be Invoked.
