The Klamath Falls Culinary Alliance
today was threatening a "stay out"
strike starting Sept. 1 In protest
against a recently-adopted city ordi

examinations for all food handlers.
Sept. 1 is the deadltno set for ex
aminations under the ordinance, and

alliance, said the food handlers are
strongly In favor of tho examinations
but object to paying the $2 examina
tion fee. They feel that tho public,
which stands to benefit, should bear
