Silent Barriers," epic of the build

the 1880s has been selected as the
new snd Impressive attraction at the
Rialto theater, and It opened there
last night to a tremendous oration

There Is a grandeur and virility
about "Silent Barriers' which makes
program film fare, no matter how
adroit and amusing, look tame and
rather unimportant. Inspired by the
gigantic task of spanning Canada
with the (?. P. R., In Itself an en

long time to make, was tremendously
expensive, and emerges as one of the
greatest achievement In modern
motion pictures.
