The miniature waa a manifesta tion of the CCO boys' appreciation of their opportunity to receive voca tional training. The model table waa a gift from them to Mr. Janoucb for his Interest in their welfare. In a letter to Mr. Janoucb, Claude Vogel, a Camp A pp legate leader, wrote: "In behalf of myself and the men who worked with me on the rustlo table construction project, we wish to present you with thla minia ture rustic table. It la made accord ing to standard plana to a scale one third standard alze. "I ahould like to take this oppor tunlty to thank you for making It possible for us to work on tbla pro ject. We have gained much knowl edge and Information that will linger with us the rest of our lives." In acknowledging and expressing his appreciation of the gift, Mr. Janoucb, disclaimed any credit for se lection of the CCG men who worked on the rustic table project, saying such credit should be accorded to H. Barnhart, camp project superin tendent. Mr. Janoucb complimented the boys on their spirit of willing ness and co-operation. "I hope that you will continue to work with such a spirit." The Applegate camp ahop worked on the rustic tables during alack pe riods In the winter. Immediately following the Installation of offlcera yesterday afternoon, became a deserted city, so far as the hundreds of delegates were concerned. Stages, trains and private automobiles quickly drained the city of Spanish war heroes and their families, who had completely taken possession early Sunday morn ing and held it through four color ful days of parades, fun and busi ness aeaitons, tftunts, entertainments and convention programs. Appreciation was expressed on all Idea for the excellent reception given the veterans and auxiliary, and to Colonel Sargent Camp of Medford and auxiliary for their splendid work as hosts to the convention.
