United Spanish War Veterans State Encampment to Open Here Sunday
MEMORIAL RITES

The 90th annual atate encampment
of the United Spanish War Veterans
wilt officially open Sunday morning
at eight o'clock when registration and
nouelnf of delegatea and rlaltora will
tako place at the Hotel Bedford, de
partment headquartere.
Mere than 600 delegtaea from all
parte of Oregon are expected to at
tend the four-day encampment, which
will end Wednesday, July 14. During
that time, the Department of Oregon
Auxiliary will be meeting In lte a let
Annual convention, and the Military
Order of the Serpent will stage lte
, 10th annual convocation.

Colonel Sargent Camp of Medford
and the auxiliary will be hosts to the
fate encampment, and elaborate ar
rangement have been made for the
entertainment of the gueata.

ing of names of deceased sisters by
Department Secretary Orace - Faust.
Placing of flowers will be done by

prayer. Following a solo, "Whispering
Hope the aervlcea will end with
bugle taps by Henry Barron, chief of
musicians.
