MERRILL TO LAST REWARD Kate Pearl Merrill, wife of E. T. Merrill of Medford, died Sunday night, June 27, at the Community hospital In Ashland after a brief Illness. She was born In Ashland of pioneer parents. Mr. and Mrs. Henry 8. Emery, on March 6, 1870, and at the time of her passing was aged 81 years. She waa united In marriage to Qeo. T. Watson 34 years ago. He preceded her In death April 3, 1037. On July 3, 1929, she married E- T. Merrill and since their marriage has resided In Medford. She waa a member of the First Presbyterian church for many years. She leaves her husband. E. T. Mer rill and one son, KendrtcK Watson of Medford, and five brothers and ilstera, Harry C, Nlnabel and Haul Emery, of Ashland, and Mrs. Mona Losher and Melvtn S. Emery of Port land. Service will be held from the J. P. Dodge and So(s chapel In Ash land at 2:30 Tuesday, June 30. In terment at Mountain View cemetery. b: CALLED BY DEATH Cora Beery Ravenor died at her home two mllei south of Ruch early thla morning after an Illness of the past two years. She was 61 yeara old. Mrs. Ravenor waa born at Billings, Mont., December 30, 1885, and waa a resident of Jackson county for the past 19 years. She was married to Charles J. Ravenor at Jacksonville on June 3 1906. She waa a member of Olive R bekah lodge 38 of Medford and of the ApplegaU Ora;ge. Survivors are her husband, Charles J. Ravenor, a son, Everett H. Rave nor, two brothers, Charles H. Beery and Edwin D. Beery, and a sister, Mra. Esther Wilson, all of Medford. Funeral services will be held st the Pert chapel Wednesday at 3:00 o'clock, the Rev. D. E. Millard of ficiating.
