would oppose the selection of Claude
McColloch of Klamath Falla, state

Oregon lawmaker said he was here
to oppose Meoolloch rather than

Burgeon Halts Yawns
CHARLOTTE, N. 0, June 26.
(UP) Mrs. Jesse Hlnshaw yawned as
they placed her on an operating
table yesterday. She had yawned al
most continually for IT days, and
her Jaws were tlrefl. Today, more
than 24 hours after removal of her
tonsils physicians said the operation
apparently "cured" Mrs. Hlnshaw'i
strange tollment. She hadn't yawned
since.

State police who went a-huntlng for
a giant bull elk In the wilderness
around Fort Klamath finally tracked
down their quarry after, a two-day
chase, they reported today.
They killed the big snlmal. which
had been chasing fishermen and rav
aging grain fields, and spread Its
entrails along the paths Into Port
Klamath to frighten off other elk.
Then they mounted horses and
drove a herd of 80 elk back Into
summer range. '
