Changing of lock on tht doors of
all offices of the county court bouse
has tt&rted and when completed
there will be a complete new key set
up throughout and new master keys
to entrance doors.
The move has been contemplated
for some time by the county court
and was taken as a precautionary
measure.
The Lord only knows how many
keys to the courthouse are out."
County Clerk George R. Carter said
today "Tfce county court has been
figuring on doing this for some time
ss a good business proposition."
Under the new order keys will be
distributed only to accredited offic
ials and employes.
During the regime of Earl H. Per.l,
as county Judge In 1033, keys were
distributed quite freely. It Is sssum
ed, and no accurate list of the te-
clplents was kept.

CRICKET POISON KILLS
EIGHT HEAD OF CATTLE
BAUER. June 34. (AP) Ten
Bounds of poison, carelessly thrown
from tt truck used In a cricket pois
oning project at Newbridge killed tt
least eight head of cattle Wednesday.
Owners were riding today, looking
for the bodies of others believed to
have been killed.
Two of the animals were found
Inside the town of Newbridge and
the othors nearby. There were no
crickets In the vicinity where the
poison wns thrown out.

PEOPLE who don't think welcome

cause they associate Inflation with

they figure that with wagea and
prices ateadtly rising everybody will
be well off.
They don't atop to think that with
steadily rising prices we merely
swap more dollars for LESS THINGS.
