She was 67 years, 7 months, 0 days old and was born at Crescent. Iowa. November S, 1879. She waa the second daughter of Joseph B. and Martha Jan Mac lack. Pearl Irene Matlack was married to James A. Johnson, March 6, 1903 at Council Bluffs, Iowa, and one son and two daughters were born to this union. She is survived by her husband, James A. Johnson, son Wlllard M., and daughters, Ruby M. Mark, and Martha Louise Johnson and six grandchildren, all of -Medford. One sister, Laura B. Cheever. and two brothers, George A. Mat lack of Omaha, Neb., and John & Matlack, Council Bluffs, Iowa. She waa baptised In the Methodist church at Crescent, Iowa, March 8. 1B99. The family lived near Coun cil Bluffs, Iowa, for 35 years. The family came to Medford from Iowa last January. She was a woman of fine Christian character and will be grieved by a host of friends be sides her family. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral Home Monday at 3:00 p.m.. Rev. Joseph Knott of ficiating. Interment In Siskiyou Memorial Park. Although the family had resided In the Medford district such a short time they made a great many friends, and their friends In the old home will be deeply grieved at her passing.
