Oregon farm values have risen 10 points Mnce March, 1033, the Oregon State college extension service reported to day, The national rise was 13 points. The Index stood at 82 In Oregon In March, compared with 73 In 1933 and 170 In the land boom days of 1920. Increased farm price and Incomes are largely responsible for the trend, said L. R. Brelthaupt, extension econ omist. Tax and credit conditions are less of a burden. "As higher land values almost al ways bring higher interest and tax charges per acre, the future trend of land values will probably continue to reflt primarily upon prevailing lev ela of prices for farm products and the net Income of farmers aftr pay. ing production expenses," Bralthaupt said.
