Hanklnson, with smith, la a stu dent at the University of Oregon. He Is rated a terrific hitter, lesdlng the Seattle City league last year, and was approached by the Seattle Indians of the Pacific Coast league. However; he turned down the offer to continue with his schooling. With Smith, a southpaw, the two are expected to provide the batting power so sadly lacking In the Crater attack.
