fect team to play the roles of the
two boys. They are a pair of what
aclence calls "Identical twins"
Billy and Bobby Mauch. Billy playa
the pauper and Bobby the prince.
It was Bobby who made such a. hit
as "Anthony Adverse," the child. In
the picture of that name. This Is
Billy's first film role.
Errol Flynn, handsome Irish star,
la Miles Hendon. aoldler of fortune
and befrlender of the two boys, and
the direct means of ' putting the
rightful boy on the throne. Claude
Rains plays the rascally Earl 01
Hertford: Barton MacLane Is the
pauper boy's thieving father; Phyllis
Barry Is a barmaid and others in
the cast include Henry Stephenson,
Alan Hnle. Halllwell Hobbea and
Montague Love.

points under the statewide Oregon
athletic point system.

classes have only been continued the

been won yet, but some will receive
theirs next year.
It takes the three years of high
school to win it as each year's pointe
are added to the next.
Advantage of the statewide point
system is that a girl may go from
one city to another and take her
points with her, thereby not losing
the work and effort. Before the
physical education classes stopped we
had the highest standing in the state
and are once again working for the
honor. We have done better than
usual this year. In the past years
little has been said or done with
girls' athletics, but In the future
they will come to be of Importance.
The girls do not hold contests and
meets as the boys do, but get a
chance to earn their points In a
different way.

LEGION TO IMPLANT
PORTLAND, May 22. (AP) The
American Legion hopes to develop an
alertness to government by working
with boys, Homer Challlaux of In
dianapolis, national Americanization
director, said Friday.
Six thousand youngsters In the 11
western states, will attend Legion
camps this summer, where they wilt
organize and direct their own gov
ernment.
"We hope to drive the racketeer
and the individual seeking seinsn
ends out of our government by de
veloping natural leaders," he said.

department to reinstate Wade Craw
ford aa euperlntendent of the Klam
ath, Ore.. Indian reservation so tha
he may resign "with a clean rec
ord ."
Crawford, euperlntendent of the
reservation for the last three years,
was dismissed reoently by Indian
Commissioner John Collier on the
grounds of Insubordination and In
ability to handle personnel problems.
Crawford denied the charges and
came to Washington to geek a hearing.
