city hall here yesterday with Mayor
Georao W. Porter, Fred Scheffcl, city

cuss possible projects that might be
eligible for PWA assistance. Travel
ing by car, Mr. Hockley, who came
hero from Klamath Falls, continued
north after the conference.

earthquake of "vory strong" Intensity

mated the quake was about 3800
miles from here, toward Siberia.

APPLEGATE RESIDENT
O.J. Dyalnger, about 83, was found
dead last night at his cabin In Ap
plegate. Death was attributed to a
heart attack. He had been dead about
14 hours when his body was found
by State Pollae Sgt. Ed Walker, who

Mr. Dyslnger had not called for his
milk. -
The body was removed to the Perl
mortuary. Funeral arrangements
were being held In abeyance while an

State" banking deputies said today
another dividend, comprising tol.OOO,
would be paid depositors of the
Albany State bank, now being liquid
ated, November 19. The dividend will
