NEW YORK, Oct. 37. (AP) Dl

a3.73 a shar on the preferred stock.
There was an accumulation of S18.25
in unpaid dividends on the stock. In
July a dividend of tl was ordered.
Net Income available for dividends
for the three months ended Septem
ber totaled $13,636,177. equal to H
cents a share on common stock, the
best for the comparable period since
1P30. This compared with $12,863.

the second quarter this year and
with a deficit of $1,305,305 in the
corresponding 1935 period.

mously went on record in opposition
to this proposed piece of legislation.
As an Introductory feature of to
day's Rotary meeting, the Medford
high school glee club entertained with
two enjoyable numbers which were

high school music instructor, led the
organization and Miss Betty Lee waa
the piano accompanist.

Twenty United States army planes,
constituting the bombardment squad
ron at Hamilton field, Caw., flew
over Medford this noon en rout to
Fort Lewis, Wash., for maneuvers.
Seven other army ships en route
to the maneuvers landed at the mu
nicipal airport here for refueling.
The group comprised thres Douglas
amphibian transports, a Douglas ob
servatlon, a North American trslnor
and a Fokker transport. Another
Douglas basio trainer, en rout south
In command of Col. H. W. Harms,
also was serviced at tha airport.
Two private ships were serviced at
the airport this afternoon. On was
flown by Dana Fuller, executive of
the Fuller Psint company. Tha other
waa owned by 0, A. Howard, Jr., Ban
Francisco car dealer, who was being
piloted by Marshall Osorg.

BIG VOTE INDICATED
Under certain conditions It la not
necessary to register prior to every
election In order to vote, it was stated
today by Qeorg R. Carter, county
clerk, to clear up an apparent mts
xinderstandlng. "If you have voted at any time In
the pat two years and you still re
side In the same precinct, you may
vote on November S without having
re-registered." Mr. Carter said.
"Registration la good Indefinitely
if you continue to live In the same
procJnot and you vota once In every
two years."
The number of absentee ballots
being received this year Indicates
extraordinarily large vote, Mr. Carter
said. In past years not more than a
down requests have bwn received
for absentee ballot while this year
about 300 have been received, he ro
uted. "We have sent absentee ballots all
along the Pacific coast, to the At
1 antic coast, to Havana and to Mexico
City.' Mr. Carter stated. Absentee
ballot boxes, he added, will close to
morrow.

on a grand larceny warrant charging
theft from the Mohawk service sta
tion on the Jacksonville highway
Sunday night, was under arrest In
that city.
California authorities knew noth

In their wire that Porter had admit
ted the theft of $7S from the service
station. Officers asked If there was
a warrant out for his arrest.
