which will convene at 9:30 a. m. A.

Umpqua and as the dining room ac
commodations are limited to 100 per
sons, the Roseburg chamber Is anx
ious to know how1 many will be pres
ent. The region to be represented at
the congress Includes Jackson, Jose

of the Inter-clty visitation commit
tee of the Jackson County Chamber
of Commerce today went to work In
earnest on behalf of Yieka'a Gold
Rush which opened this morning for
a three-day celebration. Members of
the committee visited merchants and
advertised the California city's festi
val by giving out Oold Rush badges
and urging nil they met to attend the
celebration tomorrow or Sunday. It
was expected that a large delegation
would go to Yreka for tha last day of
the festivities when the Crater olub
will Join In the celebration and Its
uniformed unit will participate In the
big parade scheduled for 1 o'clock
Members of the chamber's sub-committee
which distributed badges to
day were Dr. W. P. Ronoy, Frank Gray
and Dr. LeRoy O. Jensen.
