Porter and Frank P. Farrel, city attorney and chairman of the lenguc'a legislative commit tee. The three officials discussed mu nicipal administrative matters, Mr. Kehrll being on a brief tour to gather data for the league. The league acta aa a clearing house and bureau of Information for Its members as well aa performing other services that are considered of great value to munici pal governments In the atato. Anderson and other Grants Pass officials were to attend the meeting, Mr. Kehrll to tell of the experiences other Ore gon cities have had with public man agers and to present other data the league lias gathered on tho subject .The Grants Pass council Is to meet tomorrow to determine whether the management proposition should be placed on the November election bal lot. The council Is on record as In favor of the change. Mr. Kehrll told tho Mall Trlbuno that col lego students are ahowlng an Increasing Interest In governmental admlnlstatlon. To meet a new de mand, ho said; a course In "prob lems of public administration" will bo given by him at the university thla year. Tho new course, ho said. wlU correlate other courses on gov ernment given at tho university. (UP) McDonald Charles Miller, 8 months old, will not have to eat spinach to gain vitality If an experiment being conducted by his parents ends as successfully as it has started. Donald H. Miller, the father of the baby, Is a chemist. Ills occupation provides the answer for the experi ment which has been responsible for feeding the child synthetically all the seven vitamins dally. A crushed tablet, containing all the known vitamins, has been placed in tho Miller baby's milk sine the dsy of his birth. Tho child, who has been nicknamed "Sunshine Mac." has thrived on the diet. Most babies do not cut a tooth until approximately a year old. Tho child also had another dis tinction. He already has had two haircuts. When guided, he in able to walk. "Sunshine Mac" never has been ill. and It Is believed his special diet will help him to escape the usual children's diseases. The American Medical association Is said to have studied the child's diet and habits and may make a re port. (UP) Due to the dls- tance from other centers of clvlllza tlon, Australia Is confident It has more long distance telephone calls than any other country In the world A report of postal authorities, who are In charge of long-distance tele phone calls, shows a few feats of the past year as follows: A call of 10,000 miles from Sydney to Valparaiso, via London and Buenos Aires, with perfect reception. Frequent calls from Sydney to Lon don, San Francisco and to South Africa. One call from Los Angeles to Syd ney that occupied 53 minutes and constituted aa far as time Is con cerned the longest long-distance call ever made Into Australia. MORE BRITISH TROOPS LEAVE FOR PALESTINE SOUTHAMPTON, England, Sept. 23 ( AP) A third contingent of troops, including almost 1500 men, sailed today for Palestine on the troopship California.
