If their own statements are worth heeding, they will prove something about the the ory regarding an Irresistible force meeting an Immovable body. Pat O'Brien, product of the Emer ald Iales, la so confident he can thrash the hooped -leg Johnny 600s that he haa staked $90 on the out come. Paddy showed a flare of temper last Monday night when he socked the unethical Soos and then chased him with an uplifted chair to his dressing room whence Johnny made a hasty and undignified escape down a rope. That waa after Soos had kicked and slugged hi way to vic tory. O'Brien returned to the ring later and In his best Sunday school man ner apologized for losing hi temper Ht declared that since he had learned how the boys here wrestle he wanted another chance at Boo and posted his purse a a charity donation If lie could not tear the bow legs from the pugnacious Johnny. The middle event ta expected to be almost aa blood-curdling as the cur tain raiser with the hefty Joe Hubka pitting hi strength against the big bully from Alabama. Bob Montgom ery. Montgomery has shown a de elded tendency toward cannibalism and If be finds tt too difficult to kick an ear off with his shoe he has no compunction about biting It off with his teeth. Hubka, on the other hand, la clean mat man but he get riled up whenever any rough stuff la pulled, Once the fists start flying, Joe can mix with the best of them and he la counted upon to give the Alabama gorilla the thrashing Medford fans have been hoping to see for the past six weeks. The main event seems destined to be the only exhibition of scientific wrestling on the card, with Cowboy Dudge Chick matched against Oeorge Craig, the big-armed blacksmith from Tulsa, Okla. Both are clever wrest lers and are counted upon to give 1 good demonstration of the mauling art after the first two fiery botits.
