Stewart, Raymond W. Harris, Glenn H. Allen and Joseph L. Bailee, all from Jose phine county, were enrolled yesterday by the CCC and were assigned today to Camp South Umpqua for duty. Carle, retired minister now resid ing at Lake Creek, today spoke high ly of the honesty of the person who found and returned his wallet which, among other things, contained 17, The Rev. Mr. carle lost the wallet last Thursday without knowing It, but his name was Inside. On Sun day It was returned to him by a neighbor, Mark Hoepff, to whom it was delivered by the finder, who said he found it in Eagle Point. The name of the retriever was not ob tained. . All of the American team membera planned to compete In the British women's championship. v PLAN HIGH SCHOOL L Miss Floy Young, music instructor at the Senior high school, haa an nounced that a choral concert by the combined boys' and girls' glee clubs of the high school will be presented on the evening, of April 33 in the school auditorium at eight o'clock. The program will include musical numbers by the glee clubs, an aggre gate of 80 voices; numbers by the boys and girls octette; songs by a mixed quartette; mixed chorus num bers: and a violin ensemble. The glee clubs will be assisted in their presen tation by the high school orchestra, under direction of P. Wilson Walt. Numbers to be presented on this program will represent long and dili gent rehearsal on the part of the young vocalists and their director, Miss Young.
