Wright who himself recently Install ed a modern hatchery on his Phoenix farm. Mr Wright expect! to Incubate 30.000 to 40,000 turkey few thti year for Rogue valley poultry farma. He ha orders for four week ahead and Is now taking contract for next year, fie aald. He does not plan to ship out of the valley, he added. The turkeys will be shipped In special containers when they are one or two days old. Tn addition to selling baby turkeys on his own account, he 1 engaged In custom Incubation. ; Mr. Wright has four large Incuba tors with a capacity of 4,330 egg and a separate hatcher with a capacity of 3.000. The eggs, he explained, remain tn the incubators for 24 days and then they are tranaferred to the hatcher for four days. The hatchery building has forced ventilation, the air changing completely every mlnut. For yeara Mr. Wright has been ft field agent for a large milling com pany. His dutlca take him to farma in the valley where he give counsel regarding the raising of poultry, proper feeding, disease control and equipment. I of Mrs. HarahaU Harper Wednesday afternoon. The game "comparison" was put on by Mrs. Sater with Mrs. iATouretto carrying away the prize. Contests for the afternoon were "flower planting," "meal contest" and "flower contest. "April fool is h r.aaa" was also put on. An Imitation game waa put on by Mra. Hers hall Harper. Our next meeting wilt be held at the home of Mrs. Keyser, May 13. Those present were Meadamea Sweet, Rush, Pearl Martin, Bltchoff, Perdue, Sater. Koyser, Bowen, V. Har per Sr., LaToourette, Geeaen, Nelson, Ouston. Thelma Martin, Sanderson, Myrtle Harper. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess, Mrs. Har per, to end the pleasant afternoon. j Mr. andMrs. Husband of Buck Shot j hill were Wednesday afternoon vtalt-j ora at the Ray Bowen home. Sunday afternoon callers at the Sanderson home were Mrs. Inch and father, Mr. Baker, and Mias Gray of Medford. Mrs. Martin and sons Leo and Lorlng, Mra. Perdue and daughter Ruth and son Wesley of this place. Leo and Lorlng Martin have pur chased a new car. Lawrence Sanderson who ha been working near Medford Is home again for a few week. Mr. and Mrs. Melvln Martin made a trip on home back to Reese creek to the home of Mr. Martin's parents, Mr. and Mra. Homer Martin, and brought back their cow. Mrs. Harper Sr., of Eagle Point and Mrs. Vernon Harper of Central Point, Mrs. Sater, Mrs. LaTourette and Mrs. Ouston of Med ford' attended club at Mrs. Hershall Harper' Wednesday. Mra.
