And, as was the case In their last show "Top Hat," the entire musical score was written by the ace songwriter. Irving Berlin. His genius floods the screen to provide rhythm for the miraculous feet of Astaire and Rogers, and infectious lyrics for their voices. " "Follow the Fleet" Is an adapta tion of two famous plays, "Hit the Deck" and "Shore Leave." it la a story of gobs and girls when the fleet's In. It catches the Invigorating spirit of the navy afloat and ashore, dramatizing Its high-pitched exelte ment end gaiety, its robust humor. Its romantic depths and setting the whole dizzy whirl to effervescent music Astaire and Miss Rogers, either singly or together, sing and dance five numbers. Two other numbers In troduce Harriet HUllard, recruited from radio and stage, to motion pie ture fans In a manner that almost steals the show. Randolph Scott, seen In "Roberta," with the two danc ing stars, Is again featured with them this time as Astalre's buddy. "Paddy ODay" Is a little Irish lass Who comes to the United States In the steerage of a boat, only to learn her mother has died and she must be sent back by the immigration of ficers. But Paddy, little minx that she Is, decides to stay and, eluding the officers, makes her way to the house where her mother used to work. There she finds two eccentric sunts trying to suppress the irrepressible Pinky Tomlln. Seven new directors are to be nam ed by rural organisations, one each by the Central point city council, the Oold Htll Chamber of Commerce, the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, the Talent chamber of Commerce, the Dairymen's association, the Englo point Orange and the Prospect district. Seven members of the present board of directors will continue in office, their terms not expiring until next year. The new board of 31 members Will hold an organisational meeting o.i April 17, at which officers will be elected and committees appointed The annual general meeting of the chamber will be held about April 34.
