Howard Craw ford, artist and photographer of Cra ter Lake national park, cajne to Med ford headquarters yesterday to pre pare special folder maps for publicity purposes. Hlussers Improving Mr. and Mrs. Nathan W. Slusser of 633 Pennsyl vania avenue are recovering from major operations undergone last week In St, Vincent's hospital, Portland, a letter from Mr. Slusser today stated Mr. Slusser went to the Portland hos pital about a month ago and was followed In few days by Mrs. Slus ser. They underwent operations the same day. Mrs. Slusser was gravely 111 for a time but she waa said to be recovering satisfactorily now.
