That's the way A. H. Banwell was thinking yesterday. The reason he was thinking that way was this: News haa been spread far ana wide, through the newspapers about a projected round-up of wild horses that have been raising havoc on ranches and range land of the Apple- gats section. The round-up will be made when and If the U. 8. forest service obtains permission from the county court. It Is estimated there are from 75 to 100 hcrses In -the wild band. Well, that doesnt explain why Mr. Banwell was thinking yesterday of going Into the wild horse busi ness. So let's go on with the story. Mr. Banwell, it Is an open secret. is manager of the Jackson County Chamber of commerce. For a week he haa been consulted dally by half a dozen men who want the Job of rounding up the wild horses. Every day a new half dozen hsve come Into his office. They are all expert cowboys, or so they say. They are the only onea who know how to round up wild horses, or so they say. As If that were not enough Mr. Banwell has been jetting dozens of letters from sll parts of the west. The letter writers want to know all about the wild horses. Some want to get the round-up Job, some want to get a few of the horses xor noin Ing or for a cowboy ballad, which la next to nothing. Well, that's why Mr. Bsnwell was thinking yesterday of. going Into the wild horse business and If the reason ,lsn't quite clear yet the best, thing Is to talk to Mr. Banwell about It. He'd be delighted to talk about wild horses. IN PULPIT TODAY The Rev. Dr. Walter A.
