Wll son left this morning for Portland to take Mlw nda Williams of 734 West Eleventh street to the tuber cular sanitarium for treatment. Last week Miss William' name waa con fused with that of the 13-year-old Nelda William of Talent, who was taken to the Shrine hospital in Port land for treatment of the after effect of lnfantle paralyaia. Chamber Nominees Fourteen members have been nominated to serve as director of the Ashland Chamber of Commerce by preliminary ballot. Of these, seven are to elected, the ballots to be returned to chamber headquatera by 5 o'clock to morrow so they may be tallied prior to a board meeting Monday noon George W. Dunn and Dr. R. L. SPECIAL SPEAKERS Special ipcalcers and music throughout the day will feature the World Day of Prayer meeting, start ing tomorrow at 10 o'clock In the morning at the First Methodist church, to be observed by the Wo men's Missionary federation of Med ford and vicinity. Each church In the federation will have some part In the program. A large attendance is anticipated. as each church will strive to have the largest representation. Meetings. which will continue throughout the day. are onen to the public, and invitation Is extended everyone, whether or not a member of any church of the federation. A covered dish luncheon will be served at noon.
