Columbia rlvere basin, tvn area large
enough to warrant a special develop
ment authority similar to the Ten
nessee valley authority.
He expressed this view today In
reply to a press conference question
bout the northwest watershed.
Whether legislation would be
ought at this session was not dis
cussed. It la considered rather un
likely in view of the attempts on

Me and the boys are up to

know it took a whole life
time of distilling experience
to make whiskey that trick
les down so nice and easy
as this does. So far every
body that's tasted it has said
it's the grandest whiskey

hope you think the same.

C-unless you use a "STOP-and-Go" gasoline
You often make 5 stops just driving to the movies! 4 stops going to
the grocer's! 3 stops dashing to the drugstore! No wonder you aver
age over 30 stops a day . . . shift gears over 60 times a day I
For economy in stop-and-go driving, your gasoline needs 3 kinds of
power . . . just as your car needs 3 shifts of gears. You need' one kind
of power for QUICK STARTS ... one for FAST PICKUP and hill
climbing ... one for STEADY RUNNING. Super-Shell is the first
gasoline with these 3 kinds of power in perfect balance. On sale at
over 30,000 neighborly Shell stations from coast to coast.
