Miller, commander of Camp South Fork, discussed routine CCC matters with officers at headquarters here to day. Planes Grounded Rainy and un settled conditions over the Sacra mento valley and the bay region In California caused cancellation of United Airline schedules for south bound planes yesterday. Both morn ing and afternon planes were ground ed at the local airport overnight. They took off for the south this morning. Work at the pit in which the fragments of bones were found was resumed this morning, the sherlft said. - The bones were possibly those of a human being's fingers and knuckles, he said. Barton also charged his sister had tried to poison Sandell before the killing, but had been unsuccessful. In his signed statement. Barton. 50, said his sister came north from San Francisco last April and that her former husband followed her about three weeka later. Barton went to his brother's home near Stan wood. "On my return, she said ahe had got to do something about Sandell. He had threatened her with a gun, she said. "She asked me to buy a gun. I went to Bremerton and bought a .38 calibre revolver and a box of shells." Cave Him Poison. A few days previous to the kill ing, she put poison, one of three kinds she had obtained.
