In that time we've had nearly every Los Angelas drawing card appearing on local bills, Including Dude Chick, Shlnuohl Shl kuma, Ken Hoi Us, Tiger Taskoff, Frnnkle Peck and Wayne Long, and now comes Oeorge "Wildcat" Wilson, probably the most colorful wrestler in the game, and Ted Christy, who la so tough that he haa been barred from every ring in California for 30 days. You get a pretty fair Idea of how tough Christy muat be when you realize that Ken Hollls la ft Los An geles fav o r 1 1 e. The favorite part may be paradox ical, but what we mean la that Los Angeles fans will turn out in numbers, on the oft ohanoe that they will see him take a thrashing. He get thrashed from time to time, but to date he has kept his record Intact in Medford. He has ahown some surprising luck in doing so, both against Chick and Long, but he can't keep that up for ever. Dome people, like us, wonder how oome the big time wrestlers will con descend to appear here at all. Surely they can't make the coin they make In the big cities. We had it explain ed to us very clearly a few days ago, and hereby paas the Information on to you: The same thing holds true in the cities that la true here namely, they don't like to see the same wrestler every time for two months, no matter how good that wrestler may be, any more than you do. So the big shots wrestle In Los Angeles, Hollywood, Oakland and San Francisco for a time, and then take to the road. They are all under a booking office that guarantees to keep them In matches. So If they make $2.10 In one night In Han Frnnclsco, Instead of laying around for six weeks before they appear ngaln. they hit out for the smnlier circuits and pick up what they can he fore going back. In that way In terest In the sport Is maintained all along the coast from here south, and everyone ta happy. Very few of the Lns Antrlrs . ivrestlpm ever get further north than Medford. There are two outstanding ! negroes who did battle for thla coun- try over a hundred years ago. Mollneaux should have taken that fight, after giving Crlbb a terrible ! beating for 30 rounds. At the opening j of the 31st, Mollneaux rushed Crlbb and knocked him kicking with a rlht hand punch. In scampering out of Crlbb's way he lost his bal ance, lunged, and fell Into a ring post knocking himself out. They re vived the two battlers for the 83 nd and the two wobbled through the round. In the 33rd Crlbb summoned a last ounce of enegry, hit the negro once, and the fight waa over. (AP) The post of flee department said to day it planned to wipe off all "de merits" against postal employees and start afresh on a new system to "give the man a break.' Postal officials aald the new sys tem is aimed at: "Eliminating the human element In rating postal employee. "Otvlng the man a chance to wipe out his demerits with merits. "Separating the demerit from the efficiency rating, so that one or two 'unfortunate Incidents' will not ruin a man's efficiency record." Postmasters were recently ordered to cancel all demerits as of March 31, and start with the new merit demerit system. Under the old system, each de merit was cancelled at the end of 13 month after being covered Into the employee efficiency rating. Under that system, a man having BOO demerlta in a year was subject to a reducMon In pay. A man hav ing 700 demerlta in a year might be removed. Under the new system, the de merits will be kept separate from a man's efficiency rating, and the man will be given an opportunity to offset with merits, atartlng anew at the beginning of every fiscal year.
