This MEET THE MEN WHO PROFIT FROM WAR WORLD These men are largely responsible for today's war scare, which is resulting in expenditure of billions of dollars for their armaments. They sell their death-dealing wares to their own country and to their country's enemies. In 1931 they received $1,500,000,000 but that figure has skyrocketed since. The armament makers' motto is: "Prolong War Disturb Peace." This is a damning accusation but the muni tions men do not deny it. The League of Nations commission on arma ments reports: "Arms firms foment war scares, attempt to bribe government officials, disseminate false reports to stimulate armament expenditure, influence public opinion against other countries, and organize in ternational armament rings to accentuate the armaments race by playing off one nation against the Other."
