For Xmas Holidays
Today, Tomorrow
Today and tomorrow will sea the
return of a large group of the young
er set from various schools and col
leges, whose arrival is eagerly await
ed by parents and friends. Holiday
festivities are always given an added
impetus by this Influx of students
used to going places and doing things
while on the campus, who do not In
tend to spend all their time staying
at home during vacation.
Arriving on the morning train today
were the Misses Helen and Jean Sal-
ade, Alicia Ruhl and Charity Hart, all
attending the Katherlns Branson
school In Ross. Calif. Miss Hart was
accompanied by Miss Dagomar Cook,
of Honolulu, who will be her house
guest for the holidays. Mlaa Cook Is
a schoolmate of Miss Hart.

Will Spend
Holiday In Fast
Leaving this morning were Miss
Phyllis Swearlngen and Miss Mabel
Cc'feen, who chose the holidays for
long-deferred visit to their homes
in the east.
Traveling together to Chicago, the
two will then separate. Miss Swear
lngen continuing to her home In Cen
tervtlle, Iowa, and Miss Coffeen to
Ottawa. HI.
They plan to return in about three
weeks.
To Portland
For Holidays
Mlsa Margaret Young left this
morning for Portland, where she will
spend the Christmas holidays with
relatives and friends. While there, she
will bs a guest for a while of her
bt other and sister-In -law, Mr. and
Mrs. John Toung. Miss Young ex
pects to return early in January.
