ing ton, who Is remaining with them.
Mrs. Fred Straube went to Med
ford Tuesday, where she visited her
very young nephew, Thomas Clark.
Jr., who arrived at the Community
hospital November 23. Although the
young man will make his home on
South Oakdale at Medford, Mrs.
Straube Is Inviting him to spend a
good share of hla leisure on the
Straube ranch here, which may re
sult In a new cowboy and hay hand.

the school has been postponed on
account of the prevalence of measles

ton and her pupils gave a very Inter
esting Thanksgiving program at, the
school house November 27. A large
number of parents and neighbors
were present. Mrs. Newton left for
her home near Medford immediately
after the close of school to spend
Thanksgiving with her family.
Wayne Ash was a guest at the
home of his mother. Mrs. Francis
Ash. November 24. Wayne Is em
ployed on the Tiller-Trail road.
Mrs. Mary Warner and Mr. and
Mrs. Howard Ash and family were
dinner guests November 24 at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Cush
man on Trail creek. En route home
they called on Mrs. Francis Ash.
The many friends of Mrs. Warner
are glad to know she Is able to i
around to see her friends again after
her long illness.
Mr. and Mrs. B. Clark are home
again after spending the summer and
fall on the Umpqua divide. Mrs-.
Clark was calling on friends on the
highway November 26.
