In TO HOLD JOINT MEETING HERE Plans were being outlined today for a Joint meeting and dinner of the Active clubs of Medford and Ashland st the Hotel Medford Tuesday eve ning, November 13. The two clubs held a. Joint meet-ing-tllnnerv the first of It kind, in Ashland Wednesday evening and the event waa considered so successful that It was decided to rotate meetings between the two cities once & month. HOME CANNED FISH FATAL TO THE DALLES, Ore., Oct. 18. (AP) Mrs. J. E. Burres of Condon, Ore., died here today, victim of food poisoning which sent four to a hos pital. ' Home-canned Balmon consumed last Friday was blamed -for the bot ulism attack. The victim's husband. J. E. Burres, and Mr. and Mrs. Eu gene Courtney of The Dalles re mained critically ill today. Their viBlon was impaired and they were scarcely able to talk. Attending physicians said It often took a number of days for such poisoning to. run its full course.
