Wilson River Road Project Rejected PORTLAND. Ore., Sept, 19. (AP) A special Washington dispatch to the Orpgonlan says the $3,500,000 Wilson river road project has been rejected by Harry Hopkins, head of the works progress administration. The project for clearing, grubbing and grading 32-miles of the Wilson river road In Tillamook and Washing ton counties was designed to 'employ 4,000 men for a year. ONION CROP AT VALE SMALLER THIS SEASON VALE, Ore., Sept. Ifl. (AP) Har vesting of the onion crop in the Vale area will start soon, with lndt- cations pointing toward smaller crop than for last year. Joe hwlt said his crop may reach 700 sacks to the acre, but the ylela on the Vale benches will, be much smaller than usual, probably not over 300 sacks an acre, tt wat re ported.
