A new hot water heater has also been installed, with dhower baths in nearly every suite, and the old skylights will be re placed by new fireproof lights. (yp) The rest of a flood on the nio Orande reached El Peso, Tex., today, leav ing damage which officials estimated conservatively at 1500,000 In Las Cruets and Dona Ana county, New Mexico. A levee at Vinton, 17 miles north of here, broke today, flooding sev eral homes and flOO acres of farm land. The crest of the flood brought the river within two inches of the Inter national bridge to Juarcr, Mrxtco, at KI Paso. As the flood waters receded here several hundred families were being eared for In shelter stations. Thompson, chair man of the Texas railroad com mission, today accused major oil companies of threatening a cut in the price of gasoline and crude oil "as punishment to Texas for the ftght this state has made to retain control of Its oil production.'' AP) Mary King, 20-year-old student at Stan ford University, Calif., making a solo flight in a borrowed plane, crashed Into a tree snd dropped to the ground but she wasn't even scratch ed. The girl, spending her vacation with her parents, who live at Villa nova, stepped from the plane after the crash at the main line airport here yesterday and explained a sud den gust of wind blew her Into a tree. He also states that he headed a ! committee of local Shrlners on a caravan that waa made to Klamath Falls, last Monday night to witness the opening of the Polack Bros, circus there, which was sponsored by the Drum Corps of the Hillah Temple, and the amusement going public of Medford can rest assured that each and every act, la well staged and pre sented, and more than full value 'will be received by all attending. The doors to the circus will open each evening at 7 p. jn, and the show will start promptly at S p. m.
