Further activities are noted at the Hupmobile factories aa an entirely new model, called the "Touring Sedan." Is released to deal ers throughout the country. "We have noticed a growing de mand for built-in trunk models." states Vern R. Drum, president and general manager of Hupp. "It came Into Instant popularity by a host of motorists who appreciated lta apeclal advantage for use during vacations, picnics and touring. Salesmen, too. are now using this Ideal car because It permits the carrying of so much luggage and samples, without sacrifice of passenger capacity or comfort. "Our deslgnera and englneera have had the great advantage of being ahle to carefully check all previously built modela of similar type and have prof ited by the earlier efforta of others. The result Is a graceful body style that carrlea out the true aero-dynamic design characteristic of all Hup moblles. There are no angular cor ners, no abrupt lines, and the rear of the car ternilnntes with a series of flowing, grsceful curves. "The exceptionally roomy trunk provides more atorage capacity than heretofore thought possible. We have sren campers carry their complete equipment In It without overcrowd ing. Aside from the ususl variety and number of hat boxes, suitcases and lunch baskets generally carried, there Is ample room for golf bans. In tact. It Is possible to lay filled golf bags sideways In ths compart ment. "The spare tire and all tools are enclosed In a separate compartment, making it very convenient to get to them without disturbing the other contents. Altogether it Is an aehleve men In body designing of which we are very proud, and the reports from our dealers give us ample reason to believe It will be an extremely popu lar model." ... ,,w.sv miiju.,.! i" -',-".". i ! r'TTs.r I . fife. s 1 b&J&mt&? 1 ' w&.& wP wJv'-.',' .4Fitirk ts. r wzrim f i ygs ft i s ,e i.TffrsCTiii-i) i ?
