Frank arrived here on the "Shasta
Limited" last evening to take up his
duties as & medical officer in the
CCC. He was formerly stationed at
Camp Dix. New Jersey.
New Teller Ray Knips of Grants
Pass has accepted a position as first
teller at the Medford National bank.
He was formerly connected with the
First National Bank of Southern Ore
gon at Grants Pass. Mr. and Mrs.
Knips will move to Medford about
August 21.

day that so far this season there have
been. 125 forest fires within the for
est bounds. All were under 5 and one
half acres In extent, one belna that

fires were extinguished quickly by
forest service and CCC crews.
